These meditation days provide you the opportunity for quiet and calmness. As it is the rainy season there is less outside ‘to be doing’.

It is a time to sit with yourself in stillness, the listen to the rain, to dive into yourself, to extend your being into with nature, and to listen to the breath-the rain-the sounds of the forest...

You will learn different ways into meditation in order for you to discover the methods that are best suited to you. The yoga practice is also meditation in movement. We will activate the 7 chakras to know and experience them in more depth.

With this course I invite you to dive into the green rainforest.

The daily yoga programme will be designed specifically to suit the participants, from beginners to those with more experience. Children can also be included.

Alongside this there is a varied programme of different activities such as:

Bathing in the waterfall pool, wandering up the river, trips to the sea, massage, meditation, with the theme of - letting go of the old and preparing for the new - providing a focus for these.

 

On January 2nd the yearly the ‘Festival of the little Devils’ is celebrated in the village of the Borukas, an indigenous tribe of CR. This is not included in the price but a trip together to the festival can be organised if there is interest.

Contact with the wild nature of the rain forest and the Pacific Ocean can allow us to become more whole again.

The yoga practice will be gentle or more demanding depending on the participants. You will learn different ways into meditation and deepen your practice.

Dramatherapy: through dance and movement, poetry and painting, ritual and fantasy journeying we will encounter with archetypes and explore inner life. (This is not a substitute for psychotherapy)

• Every morning 1.5 - 2 hours yoga and meditation
• 1-2 walks along and in the river / trip to the sea
• When wished for an introduction into diet for particular blood groups

For one week recline into the the different energies of the 7 chakras and experience the states of consciousness of each. Do some healing yoga and meditation.

We open up to nature- to being, towards love and reconnection with the divine in life.

Mudras (finger positions) and Mantras (healing songs/syllables) support this process. We can get an introduction in how to do a full body massage, or deepen our understanding in bloodtype diet. You will have time to develop your own daily yoga- and meditation practice to take home.
 

Our daily practice together with the powerful nature of the rain forest, the river and the ocean will help to build up our energy reserves and resilience. The simple lifestyle in accordance with the rhythms of nature nourishes the cells- blocked energy starts to melt, renewal becomes possible...
